Wild Futures

Wild Futures is a small charity with a big heart and a huge reach. For over 60 years our Monkey Sanctuary has provided a refuge for primates who have suffered terrible psychological and physical trauma in the primate pet trade. I am very proud of our amazing team who, every day, see the damage inflicted on these beautiful animals and work so hard to give the monkeys a life worth living. We have led the way as the first primate sanctuary in the world, pioneering welfare standards and territory design. The success of the Wild Futures educational and training programmes is evidenced by the many, many alumni inspired to work in conservation and welfare work around the world. Wild Futures initiated the campaign to end the UK primate pet trade, proudly achieving legislative reforms; but there is so much more to be done and we will not rest until the suffering ends.
